Paul Johnson

Project Cargo Director

Paul joined the family business in 2005, following a short career in Education. He worked his way through various roles in the company before taking over from his father, Bernie Johnson, in 2016. Whilst running Johnson Partners, Paul completed his MBA and achieved Chartered Management Status.


After running the business prior to the acquisition of Johnson Partners in February 2024 by Casper Group, Paul now focuses on developing the project forwarding aspect of Johnson Partners as well as well as company strategy and innovation.

Becky Ralph

Operations Manager

Becky is our most experienced Freight Forwarder and has an extensive knowledge of imports and exports as well as haulage. She now runs the operations team, quotes customers and ensures any operational queries are dealt with.

Diane Irving

Director

Diane is a Director of Johnson Partners looking after the managerial aspects of the business since February 2024. She is helping Paul grow Johnson Partners, utilising her extensive experience as Managing Director of Casper Logistics.

About Johnson Partners

Working with both multinational companies and smaller businesses, our clients trust us to take care of their valuable cargo. As well as general freight forwarding, we have an expertise in handling out of gauge shipments and abnormal loads. We also specialise in Project Cargo working alongside clients from planning stages through to completion.

Established in 2004, Johnson Partners set out with a goal to provide a personal, professional and competent Freight Forwarding service. By looking after all shipping and forwarding requirements, we allow clients to focus on their core business.

After 20 years of success as an independent project/freight forwarder, Johnson Partners joined the Casper Group of companies as their project forwarder. This next phase in our history allows us to benefit from a wealth of experience and substantial resources within the maritime sector.

Office Initiatives

We've made significant strides to reduce our carbon footprint in our offices, including the installation of energy-efficient boilers, sensor-triggered LED lighting, enhanced insulation, and solar panels contributing to Net Zero on Teesside.

Operational Efficiency

We are continuously exploring ways to operate more sustainably. This includes optimizing our logistics through backload trailers, offering rail over road where feasible, and providing alternatives to road by sea or water through the Casper Group.

Directions from the A19

From either North or South, take the respective exit for Middlesbrough (A66) then follow directions for A66 West.

Directions from the A66 West

As you approach Middlesbrough,you should see exits for ‘Riverside Park’, ‘Cannon Park’ and to continue on the A66 to M’bro Centre & Teesport.

Take the Riverside Park exit here and follow this lane over the roundabout. The exit for Riverside Park is just after the exit for Newport Bridge.

Follow this road until you get to a small roundabout where you turn left onto Riverside Park Road.

Follow Riverside Park Road all the way round, you are looking for a road on your left called Brighouse Road.

There is a signpost on your right-hand side pointing at the road. This displays “Brighouse Business Village” and “River Court”.

If you turn left here, follow Brighouse Road down to the bottom and turn left into the car park at the end of the estate.

You should see each building has a number; we are situated at number 7, on the ground floor.

Directions from the A66 East

Exit the A66 straight after you see the Hill Street Centre onto the Hartington interchange.

Take a right on this roundabout then a left at the traffic lights once you have gone over the railway bridge onto Metz Bridge Road.

Take a right at the traffic lights on to Forty Foot Road.

At the end of Forty Foot Road turn left and follow the road past Teessaurus Park – (a local tourist attraction featuring large metal dinosaurs roaming around a picnic area).

Take the next road on the right and follow Brighouse Road down to the bottom and turn left into the car park at the end of the estate.

You should see each building has a number and we are situated at number 7 and on the ground floor.
